The search continues for missing two

BAGHDAD -- U.S. and Iraqi forces stepped up their search today by air, ground and water in search of the two remaining American soldiers missing in Iraq.
The body of Pfc. Joseph J. Anzack Jr. of Torrance was found Wednesday floating in the Euphrates River, 12 miles south of the site where he and two other soldiers were captured by insurgents nearly two weeks ago, the U.S. military confirmed this morning.
All three soldiers have been the subject of a massive search by thousands of troops since a May 12 ambush that also killed four U.S. soldiers and an Iraqi interpreter, and U.S. military officials were quick to emphasize that the searchers would not be discouraged by Wednesday's discovery.
"A significant effort continues to be underway to find them," Lt. Col. Randy Martin said.
