Fort Hood division begins return home

One hundred fifty Fort Hood soldiers came home Monday from Iraq, the first of several waves that will return over the next three-plus months from the Baghdad area.
"Before the fat guy with the beard and red suit shows up . . . we'll have everybody home," said Col. Dick Francey of Fort Hood's 4th Infantry Division.
Its 19,000 soldiers are serving year-long tours in Iraq that should end by late December, tours that have been more deadly than the last time the division deployed.
