Alaska Black Hawk guardsmen return from Iraq

The four Alaska Army National Guard soldiers returning to Juneau this weekend after serving a year in Iraq say even the rain was a welcome sight. The returnees were Black Hawk helicopter pilots and technicians stationed in Tel Afar, 60 miles southeast of Mosul, the nation's second largest city.

The men belonged to the same unit that lost a Black Hawk helicopter in a January crash. The 12 passengers in the helicopter all died, including four from the Alaska Army National Guard.
