705th EOD headed to Iraq after IED training

FORT POLK - Fort Polk soldiers in the 705th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit bid farewell to family and friends at a Deployment Ceremony held in their honor Thursday morning at Fort Polk's 1st Combat Support Brigade Field, here.

The 23 soldiers deploying will be focusing in the months to come on disarming bombs and will also collect evidence so that the bomb makers can be found and stopped.
