200-Plus Marines, Sailors Deployed To Iraq

SAN DIEGO -- More than 200 U.S. Marines and sailors deployed Thursday in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The Marines left Miramar Air Station Thursday morning, boarded buses and headed out for the long flight to Iraq.

The group is with the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing.
