Wife of soldier likely committed suicide at train tracks

Iraq veteran Marcel D'Entremont has a recurring nightmare of being in Baghdad with a roadside bomb about to explode.
But when the 37-year-old woke up Friday night, reality tore his world apart.

At his front door, Merced County sheriff's deputies told him a woman was killed by a train in Planada and his wife's 2003 Kia Rio was found nearby.

"I didn't believe it," he said. "I thought, 'This isn't happening.'"

Deputies said Lisa Marie Williams-D'Entremont, 37, stepped in front of the train at about 6:15 p.m.

As D'Entremont ordered flowers for the funeral of his wife, he's coping with post- traumatic stress disorder from the violence and death he witnessed in Iraq, while trying to continue life without his wife of nine years.
