Group To Be Deployed For Up To 3 Years

AKRON, Ohio -- A group of Akron sailors is preparing this weekend for deployment to the Middle East.

The Navy battalion will head out on Monday, the five-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

NewsChannel5's Jonathan Costen spoke to one of the members, a 56-year-old grandfather of three and the oldest of the group preparing for missions in Kuwait and possibly Iraq.
