C'Lina Sabillon: Her brother died in Iraq — and now she worries about her new husband

The tragic influence of 9-11 didn't really reach C'Lina Sabillon until her brother, Staff Sgt. Michael Paul Barrera, died in Iraq more than two years later.

But when it did, it was devastating.

Because of the country's military response, which resulted in her brother's death, Sabillon feels a tenuous connection to the terror attacks. Now, her newlywed husband operates an M1A1 Abrams tank in Iraq, just as her brother was doing when he was killed by a land mine Oct. 28, 2003.
