Paul B. Norris dies 'of injuries suffered from a non-combat related incident'

The Pentagon says an Alabama soldier based at Fort Hood, Texas, died Thursday in Iraq.

Army Staff Sgt. Paul B. Norris, a native of Cullman, died of non-combat causes in Balad. He was 30. Norris was assigned to the 401st Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade.

No other information was immediately available.

The military is investigating Norris' death.
