Army offers $16,000 annual retention bonuses to some intelligence warrant officers

The bonuses are offered to senior intelligence officers who collect and analyze raw data taken by tactical intelligence soldiers in the field.

Annual cash bonuses of $12,000 to $16,000 are available to retirement-eligible chief warrant officers who extend their careers in selected military intelligence specialties.

The active component retention program that took effect April 28 renews the Critical Skills Retention Bonus option targeted at experienced military intelligence officers for the past two years.
