Ian C. Anderson dies of injuries from I.E.D.

FORT BLISS, Texas (AP) _ A Kansas man was one of four soldiers from Fort Bliss, Texas, who were killed in Iraq on Monday.

The defense department identified the four Wednesday. They include 22 year old Sergeant Ian Anderson of Prairie Village, Kansas.

The four died when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle.

The others were Second Lieutenant Mark Daily, 23, of Irvine, California; Sergeant John Cooper, of Ewing, Kentucky; and Specialist Matthew Grimm, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.

They were members of the Second Squadron, Seventh Cavalry Regiment, Fourth Brigade Combat Team, First Cavalry Division.
