Kristofer Ciraso laid to rest
Funeral services were held Monday in Lampasas for a Fort Hood solider killed in Iraq.
Ciraso leaves behind an infant daughter.
A motorcycle organization known as the Patriot Guard carried flags and stood out front of the church through the ceremony.
Gerry Stahl of the Patriot Guard says they wanted to make sure no protesters disrupted the services.
"I feel obligated to do this because I have 20 years of service. We didn't get a lot of thanks at the time, and we have to provide thanks for our soldiers," Stahl said.
Ciraso joined the Army in 2001. He was the leader of a unit known as the Black Knights.
Ciraso left for his most recent deployment to Iraq in October.
