Christopher Blaney dies in non-combat related incident
WINTER PARK, Fla. A Florida soldier who was assigned to Fort Hood's Fourth Infantry Division has died in Iraq.
The Pentagon says 19-year-old private first class Christopher Blaney died yesterday in Taji, just north of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.
The Department of Defense said Blaney died in a "non-combat related incident" but did not elaborate.
A call to a spokeswoman at Fort Hood, Texas, where Blaney was assigned, went unanswered.
