Texas soldier killed in Iraq (Aaron A. Smith)

WASHINGTON - A Texas soldier and two others based at Fort Hood were killed in Iraq when a bomb went off near a substation where they were serving, the Defense Department said Friday.

Sgt. Aaron A. Smith, 31, of Killeen, Texas, died Sept. 14 in Baghdad.
