Minneapolis soldier killed in Iraq (Qixing Lee)


A Minneapolis man was one of four U.S. Army soldiers killed when a bomb exploded while they were on foot patrol in Taji, Iraq, north of Baghdad, a military spokesman at the Pentagon said Thursday.

Spec. Qixing Lee, 20, died Sunday afternoon, said Maj. Nathan Banks. He and his fellow soldiers were with the 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, based out of Fort Hood, Texas. All four died at the scene.
