Attack on Stryker kills two soldiers (Kenneth M. Cross, Daniel G. Dolan)
Two more Fort Lewis soldiers have died in Iraq, the Pentagon announced Tuesday, the day after the Army post had a memorial service for a soldier killed a week earlier.
The father of one of the latest casualties said he was told two other soldiers - who have yet to be identified - were killed in the same attack.
Spc. Kenneth M. Cross, 21, and Pfc. Daniel G. Dolan, 19, died Sunday when their Stryker vehicle came under enemy fire in Baghdad, according to a news release.
The two soldiers are the 75th and 76th soldiers assigned to Fort Lewis who have been killed in action since the U.S.-led invasion and subsequent occupation of Iraq began in March 2003.
