Iowa Reserve Unit Heading Home from Iraq
The U.S. Army Reserve's 3rd Corps Support Command of Des Moines, which has had had 134 soldiers stationed in Iraq, Kuwait and Germany for the past year, is about to head home.
Soldiers from the unit are expected to return to the United States between now and next week for processing that will permit them to be released soon from active duty, said 1st Lt. Christopher Wysong, an Army Reserve spokesman in Des Moines.
