Ada Marine Injured in Deadly Attack in Iraq (Cody Hill)

Marine Lance Corporal Cody W. Hill of Ada, Oklahoma was severely wounded September 6 in the Al Anbar province of Iraq when the military vehicle in which he was riding struck an explosive device.

Hill was to be flown from Germany to Fort Sam Houston, Texas, where he will be hospitalized.

Jared Shoemaker, a Tulsa police officer, was killed in the same incident.
