Women anxiously wait as soldiers search a home looking for a man they suspect is affiliated to al-Qaeda in Mosul today

Baghdad- At least three civilians were wounded on Thursday when a mortar round landed into Abu Teshir district in southern Baghdad, a police source said.

Baghdad- Four Filipinos working for the U.S. embassy to Baghdad were killed on Thursday in a mortar attack onto the embassy compound in the green zone in central Baghdad, a media spokesman said.

Wassit- U.S. and Iraqi forces detained on Thursday two suspected gunmen, believed to have links to al-Qaeda in Iraq organization, in Wassit province, 180 km southeast of Baghdad, a security source said.

Falluja- Police patrols on Thursday found five unidentified bodies in Falluja city, 45 km west of Baghdad, a police source said.

Baiji- Bodies of six policemen, from Ramadi police department, were found dumped in Baiji district, 250 km north of Baghdad, a security source said.

Baghdad- Unknown gunmen on Thursday killed a family of nine after they stormed their house in al-Bayaa district, southwestern Baghdad, a security source said.

Baghdad- Police patrols on Thursday found 25 unknown bodies dumped in different parts of Baghdad, a police source said.

Baghdad - Unknown gunmen attacked Radio Dijlah station in western Baghdad on Thursday, killing a security adviser and wounding two guards, and only hours after the crew was evacuated from the building gunmen came again and besieged it, a source from the station said.

Falluja- Two Iraqi soldiers were killed on Thursday in a blast in western Iraq, a police source said.

Baghdad– Unidentified gunmen blew up a mosque on Wednesday night in southern Baghdad, a security source said on Thursday.
