BAGHDAD - A suicide bomber in a minibus killed 10 people and wounded eight between Talbiya Bridge and Mustansiriya Square, in an area of northeastern Baghdad near the Shi'ite militia stronghold of Sadr City, a police source said.

MOSUL - A blast in the reception lobby of the Iraqi Islamic Party headquarters in the northern city of Mosul killed three guards and wounded two. The Islamic Party is the largest party of the Accordance Front, the biggest Sunni group in parliament. An unidentified body, believed to be of a suicide bomber, was found at the scene.
DAQUQ - Police found the bullet-riddled bodies of two people, bearing signs of torture, in the town of Daquq, 40 km (25 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.
MUSSAYAB - Gunmen wearing army uniforms killed two men in a drive-by shooting in the town of Mussayab, 60 km (40 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.
