Jonathan K. Smith dies in 'non-combat-related incident'

A 19-year-old soldier from Atlanta died Sunday in Iraq, according to the Department of Defense.

Army Spc. Jonathan K. Smith died in a "non-combat-related incident," the DOD said. It released no other details.

Smith was assigned to the 115th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, based at Fort Hood, Texas.
