Aftermath of a car bomb which killed at least 8 people today in Baghdad
BAGHDAD - A U.S. marine was killed in combat on Wednesday in western Anbar province, the U.S. military said.
BAGHDAD - A car bomb killed eight people and wounded 10 in Talbiya, a Baghdad district near the Shi'ite militia stronghold of Sadr City, police said.

BAGHDAD - Clashes broke out in Sadiya, a mainly Sunni Arab district of Baghdad which also has some Shi'ite residents, after gunmen attacked police checkpoints in the area, residents said. It was not immediately clear if there were any casualties.
